Keirsten Makes A
Bay-bay! |
|
 |
| Early April is the due date for OffBEAT's
newest fan. Lead singer Keirsten & guitarist Brad have
obviously been doing more than playing in the band lately. The band is
happy for the "Mom to be" who plays her last show for a while on Jan 31
in Regina at The Conexus Arts Centre. Stacey Caldwell, the singer
from Cherry Bomb & just back from gigging on the the high seas
from Australia to China to Singapore, Vietnam and Japan for many months
will be filling in while Keirsten takes care of business. |

Sheila Deck |
|
 |
|
Sheila Deck has been performing as a
professional artist for most of her life. She began her career
performing throughout the Prairies with her family's band Tumbleweed.
Deck is in the process of creating her new album with producer Tom
McKillip. "I am totally ecstatic he is working on this album with me,"
said Deck. "He has really good ears."
McKillip is known for working with big names, such as Shania Twain and
Ozzie Osbourne. However, he is a Saskatchewan-born artist.
Deck has not come up with a name for her new album, but is hoping it
will be released by March or April.
"There will be 14 new songs on this CD," said Deck. "And I am really
excited about the calibre of these songs." |
