For over
10 years, ZOO 2K has been one of
the premier U2 tributes on the
planet. Few tribute bands pay as
much attention to detail or have
the sound, look, and band
chemistry as ZOO 2K.
Reproducing U2’s
vast catalogue of hits and fan
favorites is tough enough. But
not only do they accomplish
this, but with the same style,
swagger, and emotion as well.
Additionally, ZOO 2K is
complemented by a myriad of
video screens, producing a
similar visual overload to the
Zoo TV era.
It would seem
unlikely that a U2 tribute band
of this caliber would call the
Canadian prairies their home,
but in fact each of the four
members are small town
Saskatchewan boys. And damn
proud of it.
Being centrally
located in Canada allows ZOO 2K
to travel both east and west,
from Victoria to Winnipeg
(although nothing beyond is ever
ruled out!). |
