John Lisi, from Montreal, wanted to start a tribute to his dearest guitar hero...and the rest of those Zeppelin guys. Having played many years on the club scene across Canada ( now based in Saskatoon ), he was ready and wise enough to throw the right guys together. Next into the picture came drummer Dave Cummine, who met John while they were filling in together at a gig. Dave was a real veteran of rock and roll, and he was playing a '69 LUDWIG kit ! The two met with a few bass players and first tried the lineup with Myron Wegner. The last man in was Darcy Clayton, a budding vocalist who had been living life on the road as well. KASHMIR recently hooked up with bass player Ray Goertzen, yet another great example of an experienced pro who can step into any gig with ease, and any set of band members even easier.

All the guitars, drums, and effects are vintage or new replicas of the original instruments used by Led Zeppelin.

KASHMIR rehearses regularly, and is always learning new Zeppelin songs for the set list.

From day one, this band has been dedicated to quality, authenticity, and FEEL.
